The Chehalem Ridge Nature Park project is located in Washington County off of Dixon Mill Road.  The metro property was previously an undeveloped natural area consisting of densely planted Douglas fir trees and dirt roads. The entire site is approximately 1,260 acres. The improvements included in this project were limited to a new parking lot, picnic shelter, multi-use paths and restroom at the new park entrance. Today the park is a beloved public resource used by the community for walking, running cycling and horse riding.
