Standridge Inc. survey department provided construction monitoring survey for City of Portland’s Columbia Boulevard Wastewater Treatment Plant Secondary Treatment Expansion Program project.

We developed a survey monitoring plan that described equipment use, settlement thresholds, and frequency of measurement for observations. Survey crews provided monthly and as-needed detailed reporting on monitoring the impacts of construction on existing infrastructure.

Crews installed prisms throughout the site and used highly precise survey equipment such as Trimble Sx12 total station with a 1" gun and Senceive remote, real time monitoring for confined underground tunnel systems, to measure movement of existing tanks, walls, and buildings. The site required high-level awareness of construction equipment and close coordination with contractor crews.
